Phoenix TR-DB1 Double Bell Trumpet

The Phoenix Double Trumpet is a great playing, fun and unique horn! Our custom design is very popular with Jazz artists. Our current generation of horn is built with different materials for each bell which helps create a tone difference when switching between bells. Also, commonly our players will put a Mute in one bell for a stark contrast in sound. It is so fun to play a duet with yourself. It only takes a few minutes to become a master of the bell switching, which you control typically with your left thumb. On the Rich Gold Lacquer option, the bottom (standard placement) bell is Gold Brass and the upper bell is Yellow Brass.
