Phoenix OB4L Oboe

The OB4L Oboe features a special grenadilla wood resin composite material which gives incredible durability while producing wonderful tone. The composite material makes it resistant to cracking and can be counted upon by the player in a variety of circumstances whether heat and humidity of performing outdoors or the dryer air and colder temperatures of performing indoors. The bore of the OB4L is based upon classic French clarinet design giving a sweet and lyrical sound while providing a quick and easy response to the notes. This oboe has a semi automatic key system with a left-hand F key, and to improve the clarity of sound, an open D key and vented low B-flat making a truly rewarding experience for the musician.
